Penn State Health has partnered with the Catherine Hershey School to provide Speech/Language Services at the soon to open CHS located in Hershey, PA. The person in this role will work out of the Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning (CHS) location. CHS provides high-quality early childhood education and care to children from birth to age 5 at no cost to qualifying families. The state-of-the-art facilities foster an environment where children can grow and thrive and offer integrated family services for enrolled families. The successful candidate will have minimum of 3-years of experience in pediatrics with extensive experience in 0-5 year population including but not limited to early intervention services and pre-school programs. Bilingual (Spanish and/or Nepalese) preferred.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for evaluating assigned patients and developing and implementing appropriate treatment plans.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from a CAA accredited program and either a Pennsylvania License in Speech Therapy or Clinical Fellowship Year candidate having fully met the credentials to begin their Clinical Fellowship Year.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Able to stand and walk occasionally; sit frequently.

Able to lift/carry 0-10 frequently; 11-50 lbs occasionally.

Able to push/pull 0-20 lbs frequently; 21-75 lbs occasionally.

Able to climb occasionally; reach constantly.

Able to use hands for simple/firm grasping.
