Responsible for the administration and maintenance of Penn State Health¿s (PSH) Compensation programs. Recommends and, with approval, implements strategic compensation programs or solutions to assist with the retention and recruitment of qualified staff. Analyzes market data and recommends structure and budget-sensitive rate changes. Works with recruitment for new hire salary setting, promotions and transfers; educates leaders regarding compensation related laws and policies. Conducts job analysis to determine Fair Labor Standards Act status of jobs; advises management, human resources and finance on compensation-related federal and state regulations. Participates in salary surveys and maintains the market pricing system.




Bachelors degree in HR, Business or related field


3 years of related HR experience




Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.


Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills required to work effectively with all levels of staff and management in a team-based environment.


Experience in presenting/facilitating large groups is also required.




Previous Healthcare Compensation experience is highly desirable


Working familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems preferred, specifically Infor
