RN/Registered Nurse Manager - 7 Main & 7 East - Holy Spirit Medical Center
7 Main is a fast paced 45 bed, progressive care telemetry unit serving the adult population with multiple comorbidities along with acute cardiac related diagnosis. Our staff are trained to care for patients with complex IV drips requiring constant telemetry monitoring, assessing stroke patients using the NIH stroke scale (Gold plus elite honor roll stroke center), and caring for other general medicine cases with multiple chronic and acute illnesses.
7 East is a fast paced 25 bed, progressive care telemetry/stroke/trauma unit, serving the adult population with multiple comorbidities along with acute cardiac, neurologic, neurosurgical and trauma related diagnosis. We are the only non-ICU unit in the hospital with the capability of caring for patients with stroke like signs/symptoms. Staff are trained to care for patients with complex IV drips requiring constant telemetry monitoring, assessing stroke patients using the NIH stroke scale (our unit has helped Penn State Health Holy Spirit become a Gold plus elite honor roll stroke center), and caring for multiple system trauma patients.
The RN Registered Nurse Manager is responsible for evaluating, providing and improving nursing services for patients through efficient and effective planning, directing, coordinating and controlling of material and human resources.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or a Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required
5 years clinical RN experience required
Progressive leadership experience required
Currently licensed to practice as a RN registered nurse by the Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required
