RN Registered Nurse - Cardiac Special Care Unit - Penn State Health Holy Spirit

The Cardiac Special Care Unit is a 22-bed intermediate unit for cardiac and vascular adult patients. The patient population includes patients who require hemodynamic monitoring, treatment of dysrhythmias, post-operative vascular patients, as well as downgraded ICU patients. 

The RN Registered Nurse assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.

  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

 

License/Certification:

Active RN Registered Nurse license in the state.

BLS required prior to orientation completion.

  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Six months RN Registered Nurse experience
