RN Registered Nurse – 7 Main Med/Surg/Tele - Penn State Health Holy Spirit

7 Main is a fast paced 45 bed, progressive care telemetry unit serving the adult population with multiple comorbidities along with acute cardiac related diagnosis. Our staff are trained to care for patients with complex IV drips requiring constant telemetry monitoring, assessing stroke patients using the NIH stroke scale (Gold plus elite honor roll stroke center), and caring for other general medicine cases with multiple chronic and acute illnesses.
The RN Registered Nurse assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
Active RN Registered Nurse license in the state.
BLS required prior to orientation completion.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Six months RN experience preferred.
