SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care by primary RN, leveraging accumulated knowledge over the course of a career to provide support in specific areas of strategic priority related to safety, quality, patient satisfaction, and team member engagement.

Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

Associate's Degree 

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing 

Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by State of employment 

Basic Life Support (BLS) 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
