RN/Registered Nurse Educator - Behavioral Health Inpatient Acute Care - Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center

 

JOB SUMMARY:

 

RN/Registered Nurse Educator supports the quality of care provided to patients nursing staff through optimal orientation programs, ongoing evaluation of competence, and support of lifelong learning. Has in-depth nursing knowledge, clinical expertise, and knowledge of adult learning. Responsible for planning, conducting needs assessment and evaluating orientation and staff development programs for nursing and clinical personnel.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)

 

Two (2) years RN nursing experience

 

Currently licensed to practice as a registered nurse by the State of employment
