SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The RN Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations and clinical staff to ensure a smooth efficient operation in office, lab, or infusion suite setting. The responsibilities include providing administrative, human resources, and regulatory oversight for office, lab, and outpatient infusion suite. Primary functions include management of staff and resources and oversight patient care, quality, clinical operations, expense targets, employee supervision, hiring decisions, work assignments, patient satisfaction, coaching and training, performance evaluation, and completing disciplinary actions in conjunction with Site Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.

Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required.

Five (5) years of RN experience required.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate required.

May require certification in specialty area.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to lift 25 pounds

Occasional kneeling, pushing/pulling and reaching

Ability to operate a personal computer and general office equipment

Ability to deal courteously with patients

Ability to maintain effective working relationship with other employees

Assists patients to achieve the maximum level of functioning by coordinating resources on the multidisciplinary team such as the dietitian, social worker, navigator, and outreach coordinator.

Ability to communicate with members of the multidisciplinary team with written and verbal proficiency

Ability to coordinate patient care with other interdisciplinary staff

Proficiency in clinical management of complex patients

Flexibility and multitasking skills

Strong ability to use data, computer systems, and electronic health records in support of patient care delivery

Understanding of the latest evidence-based oncology, immunology, pharmacology, community health, and cultural sensitivity information

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior Leadership/supervisory experience preferred.

Membership in professional and leadership organizations preferred.
