Holy Spirit Hospital Penn State Health Holy Spirit is seeking a patient-focused Respiratory Therapist to join our team. Are you a Registered Respiratory Therapist who thrives in a role with a collaborative team in a critical care environment?
SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Performs the day-to-day activities of the Respiratory Services Department and all of its satellites under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, concentrating in those specialty areas where certification has been obtained by the National Board of Respiratory Care. Performs patient assessment and conducts prescribed therapeutic procedures and implements appropriate modalities accordingly. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes consistent with evidence-based practice.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate Degree Graduate of an approved Respiratory program including clinical experience or prior work experience.
Knowledge of respiratory therapy theory and practice required, preferably through the completion of an AMA approved school.
Maintains a current credential as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP), Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
Maintains a current license by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Respiratory Therapist.
Current certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
