SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Situated on the West Shore of Harrisburg, the Penn State Health Andrews Patel – Hematology Oncology Camp Hill office is seeking a Registered Nurse-Clinic Manager to join the team! Operating on a weekday schedule, the RN Clinical Supervisor will be fulfilling a daytime, 7:30a-5p, work schedule that does not include weekends, evenings, or holidays!
The RN Clinical Supervisor will be handling a mix of duties including, in-staffing and administrative responsibilities. When In-Staffing, the RN Clinical Supervisor will be expected to administer chemotherapy and other medications, as directed by the physician, while inserting IVs and accessing ports for treatment. Administrative tasks may include staff evaluations and scheduling, orientation and training of contingent staff, and overview of workflow within the triage and laboratory areas.
The ideal candidate for this position will possess either previous supervisory experience, or oncology-based experienced, one of the previous stated is needed. On average, the RN Clinical Supervisor will be handling 40 patients/day, so multitasking will play a pivotal role. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Associate's Degree in Nursing
Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
Two (2) years relevant experience
