Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center will bring acute inpatient medical services to communities in Cumberland, Perry, and York counties.  The facility, set to open in the Fall of 2021, will feature 108 private inpatient beds and an attached outpatient medical office building.  This is a unique opportunity to be part of opening a new hospital with a highly collaborative and team-oriented culture. 




Breast Care coordinator with extended duties that include Mammography, Stereotactic Biopsy General x-ray, and Dexa Imaging.


The breast care coordinator is the hub of multiple lines of communication between the patient, referring physician, specialists (radiologists, surgeons, oncologists, and support service providers). The coordinator contributes to the productive and efficient operations of the breast care program. Ensures the highest level of patient satisfaction.


Candidate will be required to work at Holy Spirit and Hampden locations. 




High School Diploma or equivalent.

Graduate of an ARRT approved radiology technology program.

Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in both Radiologic Technology and Mammography.

Five (5) years of Mammography experience.

Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Must register and complete the breast patient navigator certification.




Demonstrates competence in organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.


Must be able to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.


Demonstrates ability to work independently with little guidance and direction.


Demonstrated ability to analyze, interpret, and manipulate data.


Knowledge of and ability to use personal computers or workstations.
