Primarily assists Radiology staff in providing non-technical support to the various specific departments of Radiology. Expedites procedures through direct patient contact including patient transportation, specimen transportation, preparation and clean up of patient exam rooms and other related assistance. Involves clerical support such as processing film jackets, answering the phone, and scheduling studies. Individualized duties by area defined following general duties.




High school diploma or equivalent required.


Previous public contact and/or office experience preferred.


At least three months on the job experience to become familiar with all duties required.


Demonstrated an understanding of medical terminology and basic computer skills required.




Demonstrated strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.


Previous public contact and/or office experience preferred.
