JOB SUMMARY:

 

Responsible for the performance of a variety of vascular and interventional radiological procedures. Performs various radiological procedures for vascular and interventional radiography and insures the use of sterile techniques when assisting physician during pseudo-surgical angiographic and interventional procedures. Utilizes special techniques and prepares and assists with the use of specialized equipment monitoring the patient's vital signs: BP, heart rate, pulse and pressure monitoring during various radiological procedures.

 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's degree or equivalent experience (two years) 

Current ARRT Registry 

Three months effective experience in Vascular and Interventional techniques

 


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Able to stand constantly; walk and sit occasionally.
Able to lift/carry 0-10 frequently; 11-50 lbs occasionally.
Able to push/pull 0-20 lbs frequently; 21-75 lbs occasionally.
Able to reach constantly.
Able to use hands for simple/firm grasping.
