Minimum Hourly Rate:  $24.87






Provide technology support to one or more operational business units of the Medical Center. Participate in team planning and discussions, prepare sections of team documents, lead small to medium-sized projects, and participate in larger projects. Emphasize daily task completion and project completion, according to specific instructions (which usually require the implementation of known approaches, perhaps with modest modification, rather than the engineering of new solutions).




Either: (a) Associate's degree plue two addtional years of related experience or (b) four years total of related experience.


Adheres to and exhibits our organizational core values as outlined by Penn State Health.




Experience in the design and implementation of web and/or mobile applications


Knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, Python, Django, Angular, Linux and Apache


Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban


Understanding of cybersecurity principles with the ability to write secure code that meets organizational security requirements


Experience in an academic and/or research environment


Takes a customer centric approach, partnering with clients achieve desired outcomes
