SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for serving as a (non-physician) liaison to and advocate for community-based and affiliate physician practices. Working with physician leadership builds and enhances referral relationships through personal and active communication, promotion of key services, and timely resolution of clinical and/or operational issues. Assists with promoting the Medical Group throughout the region.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Three (3) years of experience in healthcare/medical practice operations, including referring provider outreach and referral management, or medical sales experience required.
A valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree preferred.
Motivated, self-starter preferred.
Experience in relationship development preferred.
Sales or business development experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Excellent communication and formal presentation skills (PowerPoint) required.
Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Excel skills required.
Ability to analyze and interpret referral activity data and use Advisory Board Provider Relationship Management system to engage provider network to meet PSH access and growth objectives required.
Excellent organizational, critical thinking, negotiation and interpersonal skills required.
Understanding of care continuum and transition of care processes.
Ability to translate strategic initiatives into tactical action plans.
