SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Penn State Health Medical Group is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to join our team at Lancaster Medical Center which opened October 3, 2022! This position will help cover the inpatient service treating patients with various neurological disorders. This APP will provide consults in the ED and may perform inpatient rounds in the medical surgical units and ICU. Some prior neurology experience is preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to help expand and grow a new Neurology program at a newly opened hospital. Flexibility is necessary as the program grows and evolves. The schedule will include both days and evenings. Some weekends may be required on a rotating basis.
- Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of employment
- National Certification in State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
