Penn State Health St. Joseph is seeking an exceptional Physical Therapist to join our team!
As a Physical Therapist with Penn State Health St. Joseph, your primary focus is on providing the best possible experiences for our patients while promoting successful outcomes.
The Physical Therapist plans and administers medically prescribed or referred physical therapy age specific treatment programs for patients (from infant through geriatric populations) to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, surgery or loss of body part.
Critical to understanding patient progress, the physical therapist must document patient care, educate and inform patient and referring physician on outlined plan of care and discharge as guided by patient progress and managed care directives.
As patient advocate, our Physical Therapist communicates frequently and openly with the patient on the necessary care plan that will help him/her achieve their goals and works collaboratively with referring physicians to facilitate successful outcomes.
This role will support our downtown Reading campus with opportunity to work with diverse patient populations. Bilingual in Spanish and English would be helpful.

Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, or Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
State Physical Therapist license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
