Hours: Days with rotations + weekends
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Reviews and dispenses each order confirming accuracy and appropriateness of drug, dosage, and route to detect incompatibilities, drug interactions, or issues with chemo regimens.
Influences the drug use process in the patient care area by working closely with the nursing staff and medical oncologists.
- BS Pharmacy degree required.
- Pharmacy D. degree preferred.
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
- Current State Registered Pharmacist license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
