SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Under direction of a Registered Nurse, contributes to the basic patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient. Actual job tasks may vary depending on the unit or department assigned. All Patient Care Assistants (PCA) receive an additional $1.00/hour for their PA Certified Nursing Assistant Certification. Night Shift differentials are by PSH HR Policy = $2.50/hour.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
