Hours: 8:00a - 5:00p
Responsible for the daily operations and coordination of health appointments for a designated patient population and to assure appropriate and timely communication/information regarding medical service, access, physician and service referral, and direction of services offered at the organization. Provides high quality scheduling experience for the designated patient population. Deploys excellent customer service engagement skills by phone.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting Program or Licensed Practical Nurse License required.
Three (3) years of experience as a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse in an outpatient practice or clinical specialty area required.
Active status as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Excellent oral communication skills required.
Computer skills required.
Associates Degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field preferred.
Prior Call Center, Healthcare IT, or Healthcare operational experience preferred.
Strong customer service background
