6:00a - 2:30p, 8:00a - 11:00a every other weekend. 2 weekends a month

 

JOB SUMMARY:

 

The Outpatient Registration Associate advances the revenue cycle process for outpatient services rendered in the practice site setting associated with a community hospital. The incumbent is responsible for securing all information required to accurately complete the patient registration, converting the correct visit within the billing system, and eligibility verification. The incumbent performs all steps associated with patient check-in and point of service cash collections.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

HS Diploma or GED required. 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Preference is given to candidates with customer service experience.

 

Medical health insurance & medical terminology knowledge preferred

 

Revenue Cycle experience preferred
