JOB SUMMARY:

 

Excellent opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner to work at Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Associates at their Lemoyne office. PCCMA will be joining Penn State Health in March 2020.

 

Be an integral part of the team of providers in providing comprehensive evaluation and care for lung conditions and sleep related problems. The Nurse Practitioner functions as a member of a multidisciplinary heath care team to provide care of patients in collaboration with the physician and other health care providers. Follows established nursing standards, procedures, and practices, and gives specific patient care directions to nursing and other staff.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Master's degree in Nursing required

 

Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required

 

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

 

Excellent written and oral communication skills

 

Ability to lift 25 pounds

 

Occasional kneeling, pushing/pulling and reaching

 

Ability to operate a personal computer and general office equipment

 

Ability to deal courteously with patients

 

Ability to maintain effective working relationship with other employees

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Certification in area of specialty preferred
