SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Penn State Health Medical Group is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Lancaster Medical Center which opened October 3, 2022! This position will help cover the inpatient service treating patients with various neurological disorders. This APP will provide consults in the ED and may perform inpatient rounds in the medical surgical units and ICU. Some prior neurology experience is preferred. This is an excellent opportunity to help expand and grow a new Neurology program at a newly opened hospital. Flexibility is necessary as the program grows and evolves. The schedule will include both days and evenings. Some weekends may be required on a rotating basis. An Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification is required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Masters Degree in Nursing with clinical specialization required.
  • Two (2) years' work experience as a RN required.
  • Current licensed to practice as a CRNP by Pennsylvania Board of Nurse Examiners required.
