SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Perform moderately complex tasks relating to network monitoring, operations, installation, and/or maintenance. Provide resolution for network problems. Assist higher-level Network Analysts in the planning, design, and implementation of communications networks. Assist in reviewing/assessing user needs. Perform feasibility studies for small to medium-sized projects. Assist in the evaluation of standards and the selection of equipment and/or cabling solutions. Assist in the development of procedures and computer systems for network operations, network management, and security. Create and maintain user documentation and technical documentation. Use network diagramming tools and databases. Coordinate with vendors to identify and purchase hardware, software, and cabling.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Either: (a) Bachelor's degree plus two additional years of related experience or (b) six years total of related experience.
