Milieu Management Specialist - Inpatient Nursing Behavioral Health

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the Milieu Management Specialist provides a safe, secure and therapeutic environment for, and responds to the needs of patients, employees, visitors and other customers of the inpatient Behavioral Health Unit.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • High School degree or equivalent required
  • Six (6) months of experience required
  • Milieu management/de-escalation training within six (6) months of hire date

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Preferred field of experience: Behavioral health, criminal justice, mental health, social sciences
