JOB SUMMARY:
The percentage of time spent performing essential functions is 95%. Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties: Scheduling, coordinating and assigning all non-emergency transport requests. Greets and refers all visitors and customers to appropriate areas. Consults with shift supervisor regarding availability to staff, vehicles, etc. Maintains communication with department personnel by telephone and two-way radio. Responsible for the maintenance of the call log and check in of billing sheets.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of medical terminology and emergency medicine procedures preferred
Knowledge of basic EMS billing practices preferred
Knowledge of emergency and non-emergency EMS operations preferred
