Responsible for overseeing the daily work of the Receptionists, File Clerks and Transcriptionists to ensure the smooth efficient operation of the office. The Medical Office Supervisor is to ensure that patient appointments, concerns and questions are dealt with in a timely, courteous manner. This person is responsible to see that patient bills and insurance claims done in the office are mailed in a timely manner. The Medical Office Supervisor is to maintain clear communication between the Front Desk and the Providers regarding changes to the appointment schedule.




High School Diploma or equivalent required
Two (2) years of medical office experience required


Ability to speak, read, write and understand the English language
Ability to lift 25 pounds
Occasional kneeling, pushing/pulling and reaching
Ability to operate a personal computer and general office equipment
Ability to deal courteously with patients
Ability to maintain effective working relationship with other employees


Associate's Degree preferred
Prior supervisory experience in a medical office preferred
