The Medical Assistant I Retail Services position is responsible for providing assistance with various health care services, including obtaining patient specimens, conducting routine lab studies of specimens, and for assisting with clinical and administrative functions such as recording and documentation of vital signs, reviewing medications, coordinating patient flow and scheduling appointments and completing phone messages. The individual in this role will be expected to work unconventional, irregular hours including evenings and weekends often staying past closing time due to patients having the ability to walk-in for an appointment up until closing time. The pay rate for this role would reflect a rate 10% higher than another Medical Assistant at a CMG practice that does not offer evening or weekend hours, nor offer patient walk-in access.


  • High school diploma required
