Penn State Health Life Lion is seeking a strong and decisive leader with industry clinical knowledge to oversee Life Lion EMS services in Dauphin and Lebanon Counties. LLEMS is a 24/7 emergency medical service that provides 911 response to the local municipalities and non-emergency transportation for the Penn State Health system. These services include ALS (Advanced Life Support), and BLS (Basic Life Support) care with a team of highly trained Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians.
Responsibilities include budgeting, staffing, and external relations. The EMS Manager will maintain operational guidelines including the preparing, monitoring, and enforcement of policies and procedures, as well as maximize efficiencies (financial and systems) and productivity. This individual will provide quality assurance for the BLS program and overall management and direction for Life Lion EMS.
A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent knowledge with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Certification by Pennsylvania Department of Health as a Paramedic or Health Professional, EVOC certification required.
Previous supervisory experience preferred.
