Responsible for planning, organizing and implementing specific services in all areas of responsibility. Responsible for fiscal management, performance improvement activities, and compliance with all relevant policies/procedures and regulations. Manage all aspects of personnel processes and the daily operations of all areas of responsibility assuring the output of quality laboratory information in a timely manner. Provides input into goal and policy development, budget planning and future growth opportunities as appropriate. Provide direct supervision and oversight in all areas of responsibility with ability to handle the bench work when needed.




Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or related field required.


3 years job related experience required.




Ability to demonstrate strong working knowledge of techniques, processes and theories and apply this knowledge in area of responsibility required.


Ability to work independently and demonstrate good decision making skills required.


Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and effectively communicate with staff and ancillary services required.


Working knowledge of computers to include but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
