Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
Minimum Hourly Rate: $17.16
Under the direction of the Team Leader, the Patient Account Liaison interacts with customers relative to all patient account issues while maintaining excellent public relation skills. This requires an adherence to strict confidentiality guidelines and proficient usage of all billing systems. Performs all patient accounting functions including billing, follow up, adjustments, and refunds.
High school diploma or GED plus 3 years job related experience required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Advanced use of CRT, typing and PC skills required
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality required
Organization, analytical and decision-making skills are necessary
Must be detail and result oriented and be able to handle stressful situations
Previous experience in customer service or medical office billing is highly preferred
