Under direction of the Manager, Volunteer Services, the Lead Information Associate is responsible for assisting with the daily activities of the Information Associate team on the Hershey Medical Center campus, including but not limited to the Main and Children’s Hospitals, University Physician Center and 30 Hope Drive. Assists with scheduling as well as providing Information Desk coverage if needed to cover PTO, FMLA, etc. Provides mentorship to other team members and promotes an exceptional work environment promoting the RITE values of the organization while providing excellent customer service and guidance to staff, patients, families, vendors, and visitors.


Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required

3 years of customer service experience required


Excellent communication skills and computer skills

Healthcare, healthcare insurance and medical terminology knowledge

Problem solving skills

Conflict management and de-escalation skills


Bachelor’s degree preferred

Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred
