Under the direction of the Fire safety Specialist, responsible to conduct fire drills, safety inspections, and fire extinguisher inspections at designated Hospital, COM, or Medical Group buildings. Liaise with local, state and federal agencies regarding fire drills and inspections and maintain programs to comply with their requirements. Provides training to management and staff regarding fire drill/alarm monitoring and compliance.


Candidate will meet scenario A or B: Either (A) Associate Degree in Fire Science, Safety & Health, Fire Protection Engineering or a related technical field with 2 years of  job related work experience required OR (B) 4 years of job related work experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of fire extinguisher types and inspection process

Able to provide training to staff

Fire drill knowledge

Building Inspections

Knowledge of writing and presenting reports
