Penn State Health is seeking a customer service focused Equipment Support Associate to join our growing team of respiratory professionals!  Our Equipment Support associate plays a vital role in supporting our vital respiratory therapists provide patients with the most positive outcomes.




An important role within our department, our Equipment Support Associate ensures that our respiratory therapists have the resources they need to support our patients through routine or emergency treatments.   The individual selected for the vital role would be responsible for cleaning, delivering and performing functional checks on all Respiratory Care life support, therapeutic, diagnostic and related equipment and supplies.


The individual will clean, set up and perform function checks on Respiratory Care related devices, and keep supplies well-stocked to ensure that resources are available for the successful delivery of excellent service to our patients.   While this is not a patient-facing role, our respiratory support associate will deliver Respiratory Care equipment to patient care areas and retrieve equipment for reprocessing.

High School Diploma or equivalent


0-6 months related experience handling, cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment




High sense of urgency to ensure therapist needs are met quickly
