SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Environmental Health Worker Clinical position is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced department while making a positive impact on the lives of others. Our Housekeeping staff provides critical support to the clinical staff who save lives each day.

Our hospital, Hershey Medical Center, is a 610 bed Academic Medical Center with a variety of complex services, including a comprehensive cancer center, cardiovascular and heart transplant center, state of the art Women’s Health and Neonatal care, nationally ranked pediatric services and Level I Pediatric and Adult Trauma programs.

The Clinical Housekeeping Associate is responsible for daily cleaning of inpatient units; patient room discharges and frequent interaction with patients, visitors and staff members. This position requires excellent customer service skills and will provide the opportunity to learn about sanitation and infection control.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

Any combination of education and experience that would demonstrate the capability to perform the duties of the position.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S): 

    High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
