JOB SUMMARY:
This position will serve on the front lines of COVID mitigation by providing point of care testing and/or screening patients, visitors, and staff at a designated hospital entry points during designated work hours. Serves as an assistant to the Emergency Department RN and/or Physician in providing patient care in an Emergency Department setting. The Emergency Room Critical Care Technician will augment and perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties in order to help provide for the total needs of patients in the hospital facility.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate or GED
Graduate of a credentialed Paramedic program
Current certification and registration as Paramedic by the Pennsylvania Department of Health Required
Current BLS certification required
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification required
Current PALS required
