JOB SUMMARY:
Conduct clinical mental health assessments and interventions in a variety of settings to determine treatment needs for individuals with mental health and/or co-occurring substance use disorders. Provide preliminary diagnoses and collaborate on plans of recommended treatment, services and resources. Conduct bed searches for patients in need of psychiatric hospitalization and complete public and private insurance authorizations for inpatient admissions. Closely work with emergency departments, community agencies, law enforcement, schools and other mental health providers, including providing mobile crisis services and answering a 24-hour crisis hotline.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field required.
One (1) year of job related experience required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
Valid driver's license required.
