Minimum Hourly Rate:  $21.88

 

JOB SUMMARY:

 

This position will interact with building occupants at PSH administration buildings for facilities work order requests, which can include areas such as Furniture, HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical. Troubleshoots, repairs, and determines preventative maintenance needs of major building systems & components. Coordinates & completes building work orders or space requests. Ensures safety standards are followed throughout facility and assists with the creation of emergency preparedness planning.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's degree in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, skilled trades, building management or related field or equivalent experience required.

3 years of related experience required.

Previous experience in using and maintaining Building Automation Systems software (BAS) is required.

Ability to obtain OSHA 10hr Certification required.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Understanding of the principles of operation of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical equipment.

Knowledge of fuels, combustion, and firing principles.

Ability to maintain a preventative maintenance program for all major building equipment and components.

Knowledge of established maintenance procedures, safety, & regulatory requirements.

Customer service skills and ability to communicate with all levels of employees.

Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environment.

Oral and written communication skills.

Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel & PowerPoint.

Experience using FM software for Preventive Maintenance, O & M Programs.

Knowledge of applicable federal, state and local rules and regulations pertaining to the operations and maintenance of equipment and facilities.

Working Knowledge of CAD systems.

Flexibility to work off hours as required in evenings and on weekends if needed.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous experience with Johnson Controls Building Automation Systems preferred.
