Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center is searching for a Coordinator, Emergency Management for a newly created role!
This position is responsible for emergency management plans, training and exercises. Reviews plans, develops training programs to inform employees on the plans, and then conducts exercises to validate those plans. Recommends necessary updates to ensure plans are current, relevant, and readily implementable. Supports Director in executing business continuity programs across divisions.
As a critical member of the team, the coordinator will be responsible for responding to emergencies and developing and conducting essential training for team members including emergency preparedness exercises and drills. The Coordinator, Emergency Management will serve as the designated point of contact in the absence of program leadership and will develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external resources to assure that our organization is well-prepared with up-to-date emergency preparedness plans.

Bachelor's degree required.
1 year of experience in an emergency management role required.
Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) preferred.
