Responsible to properly prepare, cook and deliver food to patients and retail customers. Support the delivery of appetizing and healthy food on time.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare food according to established recipes. Select items from storage to the day¿s production needs.
Prep in advance pre-made and fresh food items in order to facilitate cooking and future production.
Assure that food is ready for delivery at the appropriate time and place.
Assemble foods according to portion.
Operate kitchen equipment as needed.
Monitor quality of food at tray line or retail.
Assess quality of leftovers and use/store/discard as appropriate.
Maintain kitchen and equipment in a sanitary manner.
Assist in developing new recipes.
Taste and maintain temperature for all food products prior to serving.
Prepare food for catered events.
