SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible to perform cardiac ultrasound studies under the supervision of a sonographer from a more senior category or a physician.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be ARDMS or CCI registered or registry eligible. If registry eligible, must be registered within one (1) year of start date. 

Must obtain BLS certification within 6 months from hire

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

Graduate from a formal training program in cardiac ultrasound and two (2) years of experience is preferred

Experience with pediatrics and TEE preferred
