SUMMARY OF POSITION

Responsible to provide patients, physicians and other professionals with radiology images and reports pertinent to Radiology Patients by obtaining previous outside images for comparison to current images, scanning requests, consents, questionnaires, orders, time outs, prior written reports from outside facilities, and processing release of information forms.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma required.

1 year job-related experience required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Ability to interface documents into electronic medical records required

Ability to interface outside exams into reporting/tracking system required.

Ability to maintain statistics for patient film flow required.

Excellent communication and customer service skills required.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of GE Centricity System and Magview Reporting System preferred.
