JOB SUMMARY:
Primary purpose of this position is to serve as the main point of contact for ID badging operations, to include creation of Identification Badges for Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center, Community Medical Group and Life Lion, LLC. Position also has the primary responsibility of assigning and updating access during the badging process,or upon authorized request.
Performs routine and varied administrative support functions as required, including organizing and coordinating office work-flow within defined policies/procedures and may be required to interpret policies and guidelines to meet goals and deadlines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The percentage of time spent performing essential functions is 95%. Qualified individuals must have theability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
Process ID badge requests and enter info into designated information systems
Create ID badges, assigning badge titles, & assigning appropriate access
Process compare log reports, analyze data, and notify employees of updates
Receive, review and respond to requests via email or phone
Deactivate terminated employee,contractor or student badges
Track and monitor expiration of badges and photos. Email sponsors, managers,employees and volunteers regarding expiring badges or photos
Process and track vendor service invoices and document all other costs related to access control supplies to include installations, proximity card orders, support agreements, operational and capital expense items
Documentation and deposit of lost badge fees with the Cashier’s Office
Keep systems updated to ensure lock/unlock times as changes are required
Performs administrative support functions as required, including but not limited to: Collect financial information and monitor budget activity as directed by management, prepare requisitions as required, coordinate workflow and provide direction to other staff, develop and maintains basic spreadsheet/data applications, create advanced correspondence as required, take and transcribe minutes, interpretguidelines, policies and work direction, recommending appropriate outcomes,independently review work and assess effectiveness of routine work assignments, communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers,triage problems as necessary resolving issues when appropriate, and explain and exchange information as necessary.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The percentage of time spent performing secondary functions is 5%. The following duties are considered secondary to the essential duties listed above:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED required
Post high school education or equivalent experience, plus at least 2 years of related experience required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Ability to coordinate and be accountable for multiple tasks required
High level of confidentiality required
Preferred Microsoft Proficiency Level: Word: Intermediate; Excel: Basic; PowerPoint: Intermediate

Excellent customer service skills
Ability to accurately interpret data and perform data entry
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate’s degree preferred
